Every Easter I go camping with a large group of people.
It used to be that we were in our 20s, we would drink all day and night then pass out and start it all again the next day.
These days we all have kids ranging from 2 weeks old (my new little one) to 18. Whilst almost all of us have stopped being idiots and drinking to excess we still go away every year together.
In 2025 we had to relocate from our usual spot and ended up on one of the attendees parents property. 180 acres in the Victorian country.
Just before heading away, I realised I hadn’t used my Mamiya RB67 in an age. Car camping provided the perfect opportunity to crack it out again.
At the front of the property sits this huge tree stump and everytime I drive passed it, I knew I had to photograph it.

I still haven’t been able to get a decedent darkroom print of this but that’s mostly my lack of talent. This one was scanned in using an EpsonV600 and silverfast9. Still not happy with it, and I’m not sure if it is the scan or the conversion.
On my way into town I also happened drive past what looks to be an abandoned farmhouse

I also haven’t got a good print of this one either!
It was good to get the RB out again. I won’t be carrying it around constantly but I will throw it in the car when I got camping because I just love the negatives it produces.
