Colour Film

I have a problem. I get diminished film anxiety.

This means that whenever I use a roll of colour film, I buy at least 2 more rolls. Sometimes 5. I also buy colour film or have had it given to me, at random intervals.

“So what?” I’m hearing you say “why is this a problem?”. Well dear reader, becuase I loathe setting up my sous vide and doubly loath paying for processing, I don’t actually shoot that much colour film.

This means I have a drawer FULL of colour film, and to the purists out there…no it isn’t kept cold.

I will therefore endeavour to shoot more colour film this year (clearly in 120).

I did manage to shoot a roll of Portra 400 last weekend whilst camping, and I did bite the bullet and pay for it to be developed. Once I have the negative back I’ll scan them in and see what it looks like.

The Portra is about 5 years old and has been transported from the UK to Australia in a shipping container…lets hope it’s still good!
